With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Araiza has dedicated her career to nurturing and guiding learners of all ages, from preschool through adult education. Her journey includes roles in classroom teaching, administration, curriculum development, and training within public, private, and corporate education settings. As a Head of School, Dr. Araiza champions academic excellence and spiritual growth, integrating Christian values to foster a holistic learning environment. Additionally, she serves as a school board member for a large public charter school.
Previously, Dr. Araiza has served as the Director of Academic Enrichment, K-8 general education teacher, STEAM and GATE teacher, corporate trainer, Elementary Principal and executive director across private and nonprofit educational settings. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies and a Master of Science in Education & Teaching from California Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on early childhood education from the University of Redlands. Her credentials include CTC ECE & CTE and ACSI Administrative certifications.
Dr. Araiza is passionate about a personalized, mastery-based approach to education, with a particular interest in transformational education. Her goal is to inspire both educators and students to reach their full potential while maintaining a lifelong love for learning.

Transformation, a concept that gained increased attention from seminal work in leadership studies, is a reoccurring but underdeveloped theme in the field of education. What has been established suggests a misalignment between required teacher behaviors, practices, and the social and historical constructs of traditional American education. This session will define transformational education, consider whether it has a place in Christian Schools, and suggest the behaviors necessary for educators to lead transformation in the classroom.
